OutRun ("we", "us", "our") is a social media management platform that helps news publishers automate posting to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

• Facebook Page tokens — obtained via OAuth when you connect a page. Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are never shared with third parties.
• Page metadata — page name, follower count, category, and engagement metrics from Facebook Insights API.
• Article data — titles, excerpts, images, and URLs ingested from your RSS feeds for automated posting.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To post content to your connected Facebook Pages on your behalf
• To generate image cards for social media posts
• To analyze post performance and provide analytics
• To optimize posting schedules based on audience engagement data

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). Sensitive tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services. Database backups are encrypted.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is only transmitted to Facebook/Meta APIs as necessary to perform the posting and analytics services you have authorized.

6. Data Deletion

You can disconnect a Facebook Page at any time from the Settings page, which immediately revokes the stored token. To request complete data deletion, contact us at the email below.
